Lucas German - Thank You

Thank you to the bench on which I sit, for declining to judge and letting me enjoy it. Thank you to the bright spaces for containing so much light, for if I have an eyeball, you're what give me sight. Thank you to the wind for rattling the trees, and thank you for the sustenance, since you're the air I breathe. Thank you to the planet, for giving us dry land. Thank you for the living dirt, it's on you I stand. Thank you to the water, of all ingredients first, for at the end of every hard day done, it's you that slakes my thirst. Thank you every chill that dares to run my spine, if I forget what love is like, you always do remind. Thank you one more time to every root, and seed, and stalk. You are the ones to populate the garden that I walk.
