Lover's Tip Exposes Contentious Divorce and Murder Plot

In a case highlighting a contentious divorce, Jennifer Gledhill, 41, is accused of murdering her estranged husband, National Guardsman Matthew Johnson, while he slept. The couple had been navigating a troubled separation, with Gledhill filing for divorce and a protective order. Despite this, tensions escalated when Gledhill allegedly shot Johnson and staged his disappearance by reporting him missing, all while concealing the crime.

A key break in the case came when her lover, acting as a confidential informant, revealed that Gledhill had openly admitted to the murder.
