Why did i join?
Was it the way my homies looked?
Running from a crime i commited,
and laughing all the way.
Wow the days go fast,
when all you think about is getting high again.
Why did i do it?
Days never coming back.
Knowing that one day i will get caught.
Drivebys every day.
Killing and stealing are my only thoughts.
Why did i join?
Man what a great life, sitting in the joint.
25 to life is what they said.
Will i live that long?
Only one person knows that,
and his knife is ready for my back.
