Un homme se réveille dans une voiture accidentée, bloqué dans un ravin, jambes coincées sans souvenir de l'accident ni de son identité. Ses seuls compagnons sont une radio qui passe un flash info à propos d'un violent braquage de banque qui a mal tourné et un cadavre à l'arrière du véhicule, dont la mallette qu'il tient l'identifie comme l'un des auteurs du braquage. Rapidement, il doit répondre à ses besoins vitaux et tenter de survivre dans un environnement sauvage où il se retrouve seul.
