I watch as you move slowly
across the room towards me

Drinking deep

rising and falling

A thousand neurons
firing in a cascade of desire
A stimulating current of love
surging through my soul

sweet like dripping honey
I drink it's intoxicating potion with every kiss
Feeling your tongue

your soft, velvet lips tracing my silhouette in the darkness

The teasing candle flickers
and the flame fares in climax
mocking the strength of my weakness

The battle rages as I fight passion with reason
desire with integrity
flesh with spirit
and long for the day
when I am free to unleash this fire that burns inside
