I stand there crying,
From the lies you told,
You made me feel heart broken,
As the lies unfold,

You stand there,
Acting like it didn’t happen,
You say you ‘loved me’
But I know it was a lie,

The heart breaks and promises
I’ve had more than my share,
Why do I have the feeling?
You never really cared?

The words you said,
Made me feel safe,
Were all but lies?
