Lorient 5-1 Metz

Lorient took their chance to get away from the Ligue 1 relegation zone for the first time since the eighth week of the season as they thrashed Metz 5-1 on Saturday. Jimmy Cabot was a stand out for Lorient in just his ninth start for the club, scoring two outstanding goals. Ciani and Waris found the net too as Benjamin Moukandjo rounded off the scoring during the last ten minutes, allowing Lorient to move into 16th place.
