recoil from the sacrifice,
love asks us such a deep price,
so much pain it requires
you say no but it is such a lie

In life you want freedom
and you refuse to work for it.
wallowing in your misery
destroying everything in your path

look at what I created, my most feared enemy
the one whom I love and doesn't feel me
I've been there before my love
it takes time to heal, and it will hurt
but together we can walk through these fears.
look in each others eyes and shed some tears.

Here I wait till you come to your senses
knowing it's just a matter time
till you see, you can't walk through this alone
together we will.
