Thee, I crave
Though sin hast depraved
Lucrece who’s chaste was stolen from
Beauty’s malignant war drum…

She fell ‘neath their lecherous stare
Silk gown torn left beauty bare
Like a flock of ravens they tore their share
For Lucrece whose beauty
Graced divinity’s gilded mirror
With silken argyle spun amid her hair
Whose ardor wreathed in lustful sears
Lulling eyes toward her…

Left to rape and ruin
Fancied for a grave
She fell from grace with virtues slain
‘Pon her knees in tainted vain
Nocturnity bequeathed a prayer her soul to save
Lest death shalt hasten…

“Lucrece my love why didst thou part?
They stole thee from my nocturne heart
For once our love was fervent as mid summers rain
But now embraced by misery’s pain”

Lucrece…

She was eve
Tempted by serpent libido
Left battered an alone
Amid her withered gravestone
Whilst the sullen dawn
Came to reclaim its throne
I bid my beloved one final kiss…

Thus I fell to shadow’s den
Whereto in my dreams we ascend
To lay together forever
‘Neath the lurid rays of summer’s glen…
