The stones lay like bones by the ocean
The waves crash contempt on the land
Someone was trembling
Somebody reached for their hand
Said
'If you're cold I'll keep you warm
There's so much beauty in a storm come down to the shore and once more, I adore you. What is there to fear? Because the sky is not clear? Listen to the rain upon the rooftop.'
The wind picked up
Stones stand up like thrones besides the ocean
The waves make a grave of the sea
Water angrily crawled up onto the beach
Said 'Hold my hand, we'll be released.'
The tide clung like an anchor to his feet
She tried to make the water line recede
Break apart the waves
Forever wait inside the sea
For me
I hear you
In every curling wave
In every violent breeze
Someday I swear I'll see you
