This cartoon pushed Looney Tunes away from cute characters and into fast-paced, self-aware comedy. The rubber-hose animation, wild poses, and broken physics feel absurd even today. It’s also a snapshot of when cartoons were made for theaters, not kids’ TV-bold, loud, and experimental. Nearly 85 years later, the timing, expressions, and energy still land, proving great animation doesn’t age... it evolves.
