I am sitting
crouched
really tensile torqued
cork-screwed
for maximum
explosion
muscle taut

I spring from my chair
arms raised high
I leap
and soar

5 feet off the ground
and land
my mouth opening
screaming at the top
of my lungs
YES
She had agreed
to see me again.
