lonely Traveller - Echoes

Missing you,
Yesterday I stood at the edge of our green valley,
Watching those beautiful rolling hills,
hiding in white misty rising clouds.
I saw your smiling bright face,
And eagerly called your name,
But only the echoes came back repeating,
Made me realised, I was there alone, dreaming..
Of the many happy moments with you,
That sadness again painfully embraced my heart,
My every moments, day and night.
