London Collections: Men continues with MAN

London Collections: Men, the event for British menswear, continued on Monday (January 6) with the MAN show, exhibiting a more eclectic side to British fashion. MAN is a joint initiative between Topman and Fashion East, and their purpose is to showcase some of the most 'exciting menswear designers'. The three designers for the Autumn/Winter 2014 collection, Craig Green, Bobby Ashley and Alan Taylor, continue on from their MAN Spring/Summer 2014 show. Green is known for his conceptual pieces, Taylor for his Cubist approach to tailoring, and Ashley for his use of upbeat graphics, typified by the bear logo. The catwalk was flooded with ultra-violet light to bring out accessories such as luminous yellow gloves and shoes. Some models had silver mouth clamps, while others had Dracula-style haircuts and others pink Mickey Mouse-esque hats.
