Lokman detained for obstructing police
Description
Umno supreme council member Lokman Noor Adam was arrested on Thursday night after being involved in an altercation with police who were investigating a series of sex videos purportedly implicating Economic Affairs Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali.
His special officer Faizul Ali told Malaysiakini that Lokman was detained tonight and is currently still at the Kajang police station.
The arrest was confirmed by Selangor Criminal Investigations Department chief Fadzil Ahmat.
Fadzil says that Lokman is being investigated under Section 186 of the Penal Code for the obstruction of a public servant in the discharge of public functions.
