Lohan says timing wasn't right for Walters interview
Description
STORY: Actress Lindsay Lohan appeared on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Tuesday night ( November 20).
She appeared on Leno after canceling an interview with ABC's Barbara Walters, which caused some controversy. Lohan said she was not ready to do the interview just yet.
"You know the timing just wasn't right right now. And I love her, I am a big fan of Barbara Walters, I met her when I was very young and so when it's right, she knows, I will be, she will be the first person I sit down with," Lohan told Leno.
Lohan is promoting her first starring role in years. She plays the late Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming Lifetime movie called "Liz & Dick", which chronicles Taylor's long and tumultuous romantic involvement with actor Richard Burton.
The film premieres on Lifetime channel on Sunday, November 25 in the United States.
