My unspoken words
Are mangled by forces unseen
As I trip and I fall
All in vain it does seem

There might be a reason
If there is I don‘t know
There probably isn’t
I bet it’s just a sick joke

Plagued from my birth
I never had a choice
This disease I’ve been cursed
Has stifled my voice

What I wouldn’t give for just one day
To speak undiluted with grace and with ease
To have speech that is flawless
And no shaking of knees

Risks left untaken
Opportunities left to rot
My whole life I've tried to forget this pain
but this pain is all I've got.
