1 Views • Jan 11, 2017
Description
A Melbourne woman dragged a thrashing shark back into the water on a popular beach, on January 8.
Sophie Hunt said she was walking her dogs around 8 pm, when she spotted what was believed to be a blue shark stranded on St Kilda foreshore. She texted her friend and with the help of another man who was walking his dog, they grabbed the creature by the tail and pulled it back into the ocean.
The Age</a> reported the incident occurred on the same day St Kilda beach was closed for hours after multiple shark sightings</a> along the Melbourne coast line. Credit: Sophie Hunt via Storyful
