Lizard & Squirrel Share a Drink in the Desert

A gorgeous desert spiny lizard and cute fuzzy ground squirrel share a drink at an "oasis" in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona. Against the stunning backdrop of a sunlit creosote bush and red barrel cactus they engage each other ever so sweetly as they sip their refreshment. The lizard is a colorful male who is not shy at all in showing off his shiny physique and the squirrel is a flirty flurry of fur and cuteness who plays the coquette unwilling to commit to a steady relationship -- in my imagination at least. You can concoct your own story to fit the bill. We'll never know for sure for all creatures are much more than our thoughts about them. Oh - and a white-winged dove strolls by stealing a glance at this unusual couple. Enjoy!
