Lives

"Lives", a window on the Latin American continent, as seen through the eyes of ordinary individuals who take the viewer to the essence of the region. In this edition: a group of young filmmakers are working on a documentary on the life of Victoriano Lorenzo., Colombian indigenous guerrilla fighter and hero of the Thousand Day War. Milton Henao interviews the filmmakers; filming is about to conclude for the latest production of well known Cuban movie director Gerardo Chijona. Entitled The Human Condition, the movie is about the Cuban underworld; a visit to the House of Culture in Quito, Ecuador, the country's most important cultural institute, which is celebrating the 70th anniversary of its founding .
