Little Devil - Death is near

Locked in their own worlds,
Far from the pain.
Caught in their happiness,
Leaving me in the slow lane.

My heartaches with love,
It pounds with a heavy beat.
It’s ripping me in two,
Living is such a feat.

Death is near,
I can feel it in the air.
Too young to die,
But I don’t care.

Death is near,
But I don’t care.

The knife cuts across me,
Like swans on a lake.
Blood floods out, the pain stays,
And now I just feel fake.

Tragic ends and tender loses,
Painful desires bringing us to an end.
Hurtful words and cutting strikes,
Our love will never mend.

Death is near,
