Little Cat - Why?

Is it so much,
to ask for you to see,
what your distance is,
doing to me?

I'm stuck here on the ground,
wondering what will happen,
as you just keep racing on,

leaving me to cling,
on to the hopeless thoughts,
delusions,
that flutter through,
my mind.

You don't even seem to see how,
I'm suffering,

I let myself,
dwell,
on these,
un-truths,

The only flaw to this perfect,
personalty,
not being able to let go,

letting it drag me down,
until,
It comes crashing down,

by my own demise.

And I reach out,
expecitng help,
but those who understand,
don't really understand,
they take it out,
on the right,
wrong person,

so I keep racing,
alone,
hoping to catch up,
to your image,
in the distance,
that keeps looking back,
smiling,
but not stopping,
cause you really,
don't understand.

And my world's still crashing down,
And as I sit here from the ground,
trying to look to you in the eyes,
and reach for you,

All I can do,
is ask you 'why? '
