Lithium direct extraction

Lithium, a mineral used in electric car batteries, can be found in rocks, for instance in the Jequitinhonaha Valley in Brazil. It is also present in the brine of salt deserts, especially in Latin America, where it is traditionnally extracted by evaporation.
