Liow: MCA is independent
Description
MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said that the party has been an independent party since it was first formed in 1949. He says MCA makes its own decisions and is not subservient to Umno or any other party. Liow added that MCA can work with any other party which fights for the same agenda as MCA. Liow together with vice-president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong and Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi visited the Balakong operations room for the upcoming by-election on Thursday.
