Liow: DCA to be revamped
Description
Transport Minister, Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) will be revamped to allow for more flexibility in the training and hiring of qualified technical staff to cater to the civil aviation industry.
The department would be renamed the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) after the revamp process. It is expected to begin operating by Feb 14.
