Lion King

The Lion King is a 1994 animated musical film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. Set in the African savanna, it follows the story of Simba, a young lion cub destined to be king. The film begins with the birth of Simba, the son of Mufasa, the noble king of Pride Rock. Mufasa teaches Simba about the "Circle of Life" and the responsibilities of being king. However, Simba's uncle, Scar, covets the throne and plots to kill Mufasa and Simba.

As an adult, Simba is confronted with the reality of his past when his childhood friend Nala finds him and urges him to return to the Pride Lands, which have fallen into ruin under Scar's rule. After a personal journey of self-discovery, Simba returns to challenge Scar and takes his rightful place as king, restoring balance to the land.
