'Lion King' breaks record, Watson fights for gender equality

Whoever said theater is dead, take note - the stage musical of "The Lion King" has generated the largest total box office revenue of any production in any entertainment medium, with worldwide earnings of more than 6.2 billion dollars - that's 3.4 billion dollars more than the highest grossing movie ever - "Avatar." The musical beat out the previous record holder - "The Phantom of the Opera" - over the summer.

Emma Watson has taken on a new role promoting women's rights as a U.N. ambassador. The "Harry Potter" actress spoke at the United Nations to kick off the new initiative. She will advocate for the HeForShe campaign, which encourages men and boys to speak out in support of gender equality.
