Interviewer: What happend Lindsey?
Lindsey: It was strange I lost my pole for 3, 5 gates & than my concentration wasn’t there. I thought that I lost time and so I skied to straight to ski faster. And then at the bump it was to direct and so I had no chance to get the next gate. But I attacked. I think for the next races I’ll put my hand on the pole with tape.
Interviewer: It was the injured hand. Was this the reason why you couldn’t get the pole?
Lindsey: Yeah it shocked me. It didn’t know what I should do. Should I get the pole back or not. That’s for sure not mentally good when you are the World Championships.
Interviewer: Were you more nervous because this World Championships were right after your Comeback?
Lindsey: No, I was ready at the start. I had a good feeling and self confidence. I risked everything. Unfortunately I made this mistake & skied to straight. But I can smile because I gave everything. I can’t do more. Sometimes it works out and i’m fast but today i’m not.
