Interviewer: Lindsey congratulations this was a amazing. You skied already great in the 1st Run. You wanted to ski loose in the 2nd Run did it work?
Lindsey: It was difficult to stay calm in the 2nd Run. But I made it. There were many little bumps you couldn’t see and I knew the other skiers had problems. I tried to ski a round line and to stay calm. I’m really happy. I like the new year till now.
Interviewer: It looked easy when you skied especially the compression where many had problems.
Lindsey: I knew it was problem from the 1st Run when Lara Gut hat problems there. I didn’t put pressure in this compression so it looked maybe easy. But it wasn’t easy. When you are in a good position it looks better.
Interviewer: The whole day wasn’t easy with to DH Runs. At the end it’s the 36th Downhill Win and you know what that means. You equalized the record of Annemarie Moser-Pröll. She already congratulated you.
Lindsey: Yeah it’s incredible. She’s really nice and I’m happy that she’s here today. She wasn’t in Cortina when I broke the record for most World Cup Wins. It means a lot to me she’s a legend and have a lot of respect of her. It’s the perfect day today.
