i woke up today
when the sun in my eyes
a smile on my face
and no need to cry

the last fee weeks have been hard
i just cant seem to get things right
and the hardest part of everything
is every lonely night

today i think i got it right
i new just what to do
i'll work as hard as i can
and come right back to you
