Love comes softly,
When it's softly learned.
From the hands of ones care-givers,
And to what they for your life discern.

When love is given softly by another,
One can't help but pass that feeling along.
In helping out one in need,
Or loving words written in a song.

So pass some gentle love along,
Give it all away to those you meet.
Show them how great it feels to be loved,
And then hopefully they too will love repeat.
