I'm going ahead of you my darling
Need to get there before you do!
I have lived a long and love filled life
and it was all because of you!

I need to go ahead you see
to straighten up some things.
Of what I lacked in this life
and with what, sins in my life did bring.

Don't cry for me when I go
just know that one day we shall live again as one.
So meet me at the tree of life
just relaxing in this after life, with God's Son.

If you had to go before me
You might not know just what to do?
So I'l go ahead of you my dearest
I need to get there just before you.
