Late Summer, Its hot, mid afternoon
Sit on the Front Porch, listen to tune's
Taken back to the 60's and glory days
Generation of Peace Signs, and Hippies,
psychedelic lights as the music plays
A young Idealist, Wild Child,
with age has become mild
But still her mind wonders to the past
With the music of CCR turned to full blast
When a Nations Young chanted,
'Make Love Not War'
The Age of Aquarius to explore
The World still as confusing as it was then
The Music brings it back, now and again
