Linda I. Weischedel - Hurting Inside

Right now I am hurting so bad,
this inner loss is making me feel so very sad,
the happiness in your voice made me ever so glad,
yet flipping to the other side of the coin
I will soon start to feel the anger
because of you're let down is causing me to become mad.

In you're own way I do believe that you love me,
but not enough for the two of us to be,
you've grow comfortable thru-out the years
being unattached and free,
I guess I can only cherrish this short amount of time you made
me feel truly happy.

I don't think you lied,
but you're true feelings you chose to hide,
now you say we can't be together....
I am honestly hurting deep inside.
