Lina Sabri - I Read

I read the stars, I read the cards
I break the glass and read the shards
I read tea leaves, and coffee grounds
I prick up my ears and search for sounds

But alas! I search but never find
Myself, my soul, my inner mind
I remain astray in a cyclone's eye
Yet still, I try and try and try

Is hope dead? Are dreams unwise?
How many are too many tries?
I only know one thing for sure
I will always find an open door!
