Description
I've seen the face of the prince of tides,
where childlike trust runs and hides.
A darkness where one sees only light,
and perfection consumes one with fright,
A pedestal to lean and call,
when one so trusting is about to fall.
The prince does catch you, in his web,
and carries you to the ocean's ebb.
Your soul is covered in royal gold,
and to any buyer, it cannot be sold.
He takes your heart in a seconds' beat,
and then face to face, you two do meet.
A serenity, a placid state,
you stand at the entrance of heaven's gate.
Awaiting his arms to hold you near,
so you never cry another tear.
