Decrepit little child, don’t cry
Hear the sweet angel’s voice
Listen to the silky soft words
And let them flow through
Like a stream of comfort trickling amongst the brittle hollows
He shall guide you
His skin brings shivers to the touch
With eyes that say so much
He’ll hold out his hand and take you in
Curl up in his palm
And wait for life to truly begin.
