Lilly Emery - October Skies

With midnight always on my mind in my heart
comes you with all the stars that shines on
us in the October skies,

Side by side through the sadden streets with
Twilight of Love shining in our eyes holding
each other thigh,

Side by side through the streets at midnight,
Roaming together,
Through the tumultuous night of California
In the miraculous October weather.

Roaming together under the blankets of stars,
talking about our future in a city of hate
but we didn't lose our faith in Love of grace,

Cool to the wind blows, fresh in our faces,
Cleansing, entrancing of dreams we made
We danced and we dance into another day,

We have a smile on our face to be here together,
is a blessing of true Love roaming between us
Even in a City of hate we found faith in Love
in the October skies.
