Lilly D'souza - No More Studies

When I’m back from school at four,
There’s a school at home waiting for more.

I hate to think of doing all again,
All that I did, throughout the day.

Paying attention for such long hours,
To improve my knowledge and thinking powers.

It’s time for fun, after doing the best,
I wish my parents knew I need rest.

Whenever I’m seen around in comfort
I'm reminded again, of making some effort.

Effort to think and effort to learn,
Not taking effort to think, I may burn.

Oh, how I wish, I could convince by polls,
Studying is not all, to tackle the tolls.

I can live with the basics of life,
Which I believe is joy and not only strife.

No more studies, is what I wish,
With memory, of a day without study, to cherish.
