Lil Yachty Breaks Down "COUNT ME IN"

Lil Yachty returned earlier this month with his anticipated project ‘Lil Boat 2,’ the sequel to his 2016 mixtape ‘Lil Boat.’ The project includes a slew of artist features and showcases Yachty’s heavier rap style that's associated with his alter ego, Boat.

"COUNT ME IN" is one of the album's standout tracks, putting Yachty's bars front and center as the sole rapper on the song.

The track is produced by Atlanta's hitmaker Pi'erre Bourne and incorporates an unforgettable blaring bass. Yachty tells Genius that the lyrics reflect on the beginning of his music career, as he tried to prove himself while hanging with more established artists.
