Ligue 1 : Rennes 2-0 Lille

Rennes secured their first win since February with a 2-0 victory over Lille in Ligue 1 on Saturday. Rennes made the perfect start as Firmin Mubele smashed in the opener after three minutes, his second goal since joining the French side from Qatari club Al-Ahli. Giovanni Sio then doubled the score before half time thanks to a clever Yoann Gourcuff header. The win for Rennes also ends a run games without a victory as they move to ninth in the league.
