Lightning Strike Sets Fire to Tree in Perth

Lightning sparked fires across the western Australian city of Perth on Monday, February 2, as a thunderstorm brought heavy rain, flash flooding and wild winds to the city. The storm knocked out power to about 16,000 homes in Perth</a> and uprooted trees. The Bureau of Meteorology issued a strong wind warning</a> for Leeuwin, Albany and Esperance Coasts.
