Gaza residents celebrated Friday, the Muslim holy day, in an air of normalcy, for the first time in seven weeks, going about their usual daily activities. After Friday prayers, thousands took to the streets for a mass rallied called by Islamic Jihad, the third largest party in Gaza, which rejects the existence of Israel.
