Libyan Berbers demand rights
47 Views • Aug 21, 2012
Description
Berber fighters took on those loyal to Muammar Gaddafi in the country's western mountains during Libya's uprising against the former leader.
They now say that they want their language to be officially recognised and say the new government must include their representatives.
The country's new rulers, however, have not so far acknowledged their demands.
Al Jazeera's Imran Khan reports from Zuwarah, in western Libyan.
