Liberty Park.

The Liberty Park is located in Athens, right next to the metro station Megaro Mousikis. It is a small but nice and easy to access park, ideal for dog walking or picnic. This is the link on how to get there https://bit.ly/2MkO1yb

In the middle of the park, is located the statue of a guy who looks liek Lenin. But he is not. His name was Eleftherios Venizelos and was one of the significant Greek politician in early 20th Century. The Athens International Airport and way too many streets, are named after him as well.

Megaro Mousikis metro station is also next to a bulding with the same name. In Greek, it means the music mansion. A place that many musical events take place, all year round. In sumemrtime, Most of then are conducted in a small yard and if you are in Liberty Park, along with the nice view and the green grass, you will enjoy a free concert as well.
