Liberal Groups Lecture Biden On Policing

This morning, Reuters reports that more than 50 liberal groups have signed a letter to Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
They warn Biden he could lose black voters’ support unless he commits to more transformative policing reforms.
Biden has drawn renewed attention for his crime agenda following weeks of nationwide protests since George Floyd.
Biden has proposed $300-million to a federal community policing program.
The letter to Biden argues his plan would only exacerbate the problem of policing.
Liberal activists wants Biden to get on board with “defunding the police,”which would redirect police funds to other community needs.
Biden has declined to support “defunding the police.”
