Lexus’ Strategy For An Electrified Future

With the new NX, Lexus is opening a new chapter in the history of the Japanese premium automobile brand: The second generation of the SUV model features a further developed body design and is driving electrification further with the first plug-in hybrid from Lexus and the latest hybrid generation Ahead. At the same time, the new NX offers driving dynamics improvements for an active and networked driving experience, multimedia and connectivity of the next generation as well as new technologies for more safety and comfort.

The new NX replaces a model that has been very successful for Lexus in Europe. Since its launch in 2014, more than 170,000 units have been sold - mostly to customers who are driving a Lexus for the first time. The NX has thus also made a significant contribution to the growth of the brand in Germany.
