Lewtrenchard Holy Well

Lewtrenchard Holy Well is one of many holy wells across Devon. Located in the Forgotten Garden of Lewtrenchard, this holy well is covered by a well house which was restored and rededicated in 2013.
The original well house was designed by Sabine Baring-Gould, the vicar of Lewtrenchard Church who was also a novelist and songwriter. This well house has been moved to Lewtrenchard House across the road with a new well house being constructed over the well.
While I was here I took a video of the Forgotten Garden of Lewtrenchard however it seems that I've sadly accidentally deleted it. This is my only surviving video of the garden.
