Description

Rain was best.
When fallen below the waves,
Ocean breezes would mix
-Then mingle
Beyond an un-horrendous shore-
Not the bore of mundane
Or some bland misfortune,
But an opportune time
Of epic proportions-

Rain was always best.
When pressed to low degrees,
Rivers would bow in devotion,
With a quiet emotion-
Volatile, in majesty
Yet somber by and by
When lands rose
In the distance
The waves did live and die-

Rain was always best.
The tapestry of night made best,
The lakes of proper time
Space to horizons did displace,
The calmness of guiles;
Rain was always best
Such a pleasant child,
Some symmetry of a tear misplaced
Beyond the free and the wild-
