Lets make a Rubber Band Powered Car #4
Description
It was left in the scrap pile for a while and today I decided to finish it myself, but decided to make it rubber band powered adding an outrigger to extend the length of rubber bands that could be used. It could possibly still be constructed without a hot glue gun but I used one anyway to ensure it could handle the extra stresses of rubber band power.\r
\r
If you left off the outrigger and just put some loops of sticky tape on the chassis you could stick a balloon to it and it would run fine. You wouldnt need to extra strength on the back axle either.\r
\r
I have used several features spotted in other peoples YouTube videos, such as the drinking straws bunched together for the CD axles and the balloon cut into strips to make tyres for the CDs to give better grip. \r

If you have a question it is probably worth reading my video description first because the answer may already be there. I have over 2000 videos on YouTube covering a wide range of subjects. To find them follow my YouTube search guide or see my playlists \r
\r
Generally my projects are for my grandchildren to enjoy. OK, I enjoy them too. If anybody else likes them, that is a bonus. I like to keep my work as simple and basic as possible so that it can be copied easily and improved by anybody who wants to try themselves. I recycle or repurpose items rather than buy new and when I do buy I like to keep it cheap.\r
